FOET WITH EBS

Aim

The aim of the FOET with Emergency Breathing System (EBS) course is to refresh, update and assess the essential offshore emergency response knowledge and practical skills of experienced offshore personnel. The training focuses on emergency response activities that cannot normally be practised during routine offshore operations, helping delegates maintain the competence required to respond safely and effectively during offshore emergencies.

Course Objective

Upon successful completion of the FOET with EBS training, delegates will be able to demonstrate the required knowledge and practical skills in key offshore emergency response areas, including: • Helicopter emergency escape procedures using an Emergency Breathing System (EBS) • Appropriate actions during helicopter emergencies • Firefighting and emergency response techniques • Self-rescue procedures in smoke-filled or emergency environments • Basic first aid and casualty management • Safe and effective response to typical offshore emergency situations The course provides delegates with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate these emergency response skills in a controlled training environment.

Target Audience

The FOET with EBS course is designed for experienced offshore personnel who require periodic revalidation of their offshore safety and emergency response training. It is suitable for personnel who already hold a valid, recognised OPITO offshore safety certificate and need to maintain their competence and certification for continued offshore employment and travel.

  • • Filled-up Course Booking Form (CBF)

  • • Previous Valid OPITO certificate (only for Refresher Courses)
