Aim

To refresh and maintain the emergency response knowledge and practical skills required by personnel working in tropical offshore environments, particularly those emergency procedures that cannot normally be practised during routine offshore operations.

Course Objective

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to demonstrate appropriate emergency response skills in areas including: • Helicopter emergency escape • Basic firefighting and fire response • Self-rescue techniques • Basic first aid • Emergency actions applicable to tropical offshore installations The training helps delegates maintain the level of competence required to respond safely and effectively during offshore emergency situations.

Target Audience

This course is intended for personnel currently working, or preparing to continue working, in tropical offshore environments who require periodic revalidation of their offshore emergency response training.
